Dan grew up in Cambridge, Ontario but has enjoyed stops in Barrie, ON, Caronport, SK and Sault Ste. Marie. ON. His prior work as a business owner and his leadership in post-secondary education have given him a unique perspective on life and theology. Dan and Penny have been married for over 30 years and have six children. Their spiritual life together is characterized by an ever-growing understanding and appreciation for the Gospel (the good news about Jesus). Dan spends most of his time enjoying family, exploring the outdoors and reading broadly.
Rachel Mallory

Rachel grew up in Muskoka, attended Bible school in New York and came to Kingston to pursue music and education degrees at Queen’s University. While she trusted in Jesus as a young child, Rachel never expected to be employed at a local church. However, after attending and volunteering at Bay Park for five years, she joined the staff team to help facilitate music, outreach and communication.
On a regular day, you might find Rachel half way through 10 books, out for a hike or doing house renovations with her husband.
Mykah Ramautarsingh

Mykah joined the Bay Park family in 2021, making the trek to Kingston with his wife Brittany from the Niagara Region. He grew up in a Christian family, and that fostered his passion and love for Jesus. Having recommitted his life to Christ in his early teens, God called Mykah to ministry in Grade 11, which led him to Tyndale University where he graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Religious Education that’s focused in Pastoral Ministry.
Besides his passion for youth to enter into a fruitful and growing relationship with Christ, Mykah also loves diving into almost anything car-related, socializing and making people laugh, exploring theology, finding the next best restaurant, traveling, reading, music, and thanking God for making his wife so tolerant of him.

Tara has been part of the Bay Park family since moving to Kingston in 2017. They are blessed with two boys who fill their home with joy. Tara’s journey of faith began in elementary school, when she first learned about and believed in Jesus. Since then, she has felt a deep calling to share the love of Jesus with children. To follow that calling, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry and became a Registered Early Childhood Educator. She is passionate about the beautiful intersection of faith and child development, and she is honoured to serve the children of Bay Park as they grow both in height and in spiritual depth.
Tara enjoys being surrounded by laughter, good food, and warm summer days.
Ashlesha Douglas

Ashlesha grew up in Bikaner, India, but made a life changing decision in 2019 to move to Kingston Ontario, Canada. Growing up in a Hindu family, Ashlesha changed from believing in multiple gods, to being an atheist believing in none. However, in her first year in Canada, she had a miraculous encounter with God and since then has been a proud follower of Jesus. Despite her previous education in Dentistry & Health care administration, Ashlesha’s passion to share the love and healing of Jesus has led her transition to working in Christian ministry, first with Momentum Campus Ministries (since 2022) and now with Bay Park.
Ashlesha’s loving family still resides in India, and you can often find Ashlesha speaking with them over video calls during lunch hour. She loves time with Jesus, nature, adventures, DIYs, studying, & walking with friends. Her grounding Bible verse group is Romans 8:31-39 which she summarizes as “Nothing or no one can EVER separate me from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus my Lord.”
