What to Expect and How to Participate:
Throughout the year we have two in person Sunday Services each week at 9:00am and 10:30am. Each service is approximately 60 minutes in length.
With restrictions loosening, we are making some exciting changes:
- In the Province of Ontario, as of March 21st, wearing a mask indoors is optional and no longer mandatory. At Bay Park we recognize that this change is welcomed by some and not by others. As a church, we ask that you respond to the personal choices of others with grace. We also encourage you to actively consider the people around you; if someone asks you to wear a mask in their presence, please respect their request.
- Capacity limits have been lifted in all indoor public settings; however, please remember that everyone has their own comfort level! So, double check with people before you give them a hug or handshake. If you find you would prefer more space, or if you arrive late, the Cafe will be available to view the service.
- Pre-Registration is no longer required for services or our children’s program. Even though we no longer require pre-registration for the Sunday morning Children’s Program, we DO still need you to check your child in at the sign in desk in the Foyer before the service. Each child needs to be signed in for safety & security reasons. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
Children’s Program Options:
There will be a Kid’s Program for children in JK-Grade 6 offered at both services in the Children’s Education wing of the Bay Park building. Children attending the Kid’s Program will be joining their family in the service for the first 15min. During the service the children will be dismissed and the program teachers will meet the children at the back Auditorium doors where they will escort everyone as a group to their designated classroom. When families arrive for the service, please stop to check your child in and receive a number card at the table in the Foyer, which you will need in order to pick your child up from class once the service has finished.
For families with children younger then Junior Kindergarten age, we have a Nursery available for ages 6-18mths, and a Toddler Classroom (Room 103) for children 19mths- 3yrs old. Both rooms are staffed with volunteers to care for your children, and the Toddler Classroom will incorporate an age appropriate program to engage the children. Children going into these two rooms can be checked in before the service begins and parents will be given a buzzer should any significant needs arise for your child during the service.
Our Nursing Mom’s Room is available at both services should families need a changing table, a spot to nurse, or just a quieter space with their babies. A tv is set up to stream the service in this room, to ensure that nursing mothers do not have to miss out on the service as they care for their little ones.
