We were excited to be partner with Bethel Church to host three weeks of virtual guest speakers giving answers to our honest questions. Each week a guest speaker spoke on a given topic, followed by a Q & A session.

January 17 – Unity, Blessing and Reconciliation
Andrew Thunder currently works as a policy analyst with the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs and previously worked as an Executive Pastor, Aboriginal Missions Assistant Director and Associate Pastor. Andrew is passionate about seeing resilient Indigenous communities and congregations grow from coast to coast. He is also committed to helping non-Indigenous evangelical congregations across Canada learn about reconciliation
Joel Gordon is a filmmaker, actor, pastor and the Director of Partnership and Ministry Innovation at the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada. In 2013 he produced a magazine and TV series called Love Is Moving that features youth groups living out God’s love in their communities. Joel is passionate about guiding his own children into a deeper relationship with God and also about sharing stories from youth and young adults across Canada through EFC’s magazine, Love Is Moving.
January 24 – Is Christianity Bad for the Environment?
Andy Bannister answered the question is Christianity bad for the environment?
Dr. Andy Bannister is the Director of the Solas Centre for Public Christianity, speaking and teaching regularly throughout the UK, Europe, Canada, the USA, and the wider world. From universities to churches, business forums to TV and radio, he regularly addresses audiences of both Christians and those of all faiths and none on issues relating to faith, culture, politics and society.
Andy holds a PhD in Islamic studies and has taught extensively at universities across Canada, the USA, the UK and further afield on both Islam and philosophy. He is also an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Arthur Jeffery Centre for the Study of Islam at Melbourne School of Theology and is also Adjunct Faculty at Wycliffe College, University of Toronto.
