Alpha

As Canadians, we are really good at asking each other small talk – how’s the weather, how was the game? And asking Google the hard questions. We want to change that – that is why we are running Alpha! Alpha is an 11-week course that creates space where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about life, faith and Jesus.
It is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith with time to connect, watch a video and share some thoughts in a non judgemental place. Anyone is welcome. As we plan to run Alpha – please be thinking and praying – Is this something I need to attend! Or would it be helpful for someone in my family? Who in your life would benefit from this safe space to ask hard questions? Who are you going to invite? And – can I do something to help. We are looking for people to help with food, leading this discussions, or even playing with the kids. Is there a way you could help with Alpha?

Exploration into Christian Doctrine and Practices

This 8-week course is intended as a deeper dive into to Christian doctrine and practice. We will be studying the Apostle’s Creed together and exploring subjects like the Trinity, the Incarnation, and the Church. A key goal of this course is understanding how central Christian doctrines are worked out in Christian practice.
Course begins on October 18th at 7:00pm. Please let us know if you are interested in attending by clicking here!
Everyday Apologetics

Starting Thursday, October 22nd, join Ashlesha for a 6-week cohort based on Michael Keller’s Everyday Apologetics curriculum, adapted for our church. We’ll learn to engage the toughest objections to Christianity — suffering, science, and church hypocrisy — and the deeper cultural stories (identity, power, morality, happiness, freedom, truth, progress) shaping the people around us. This isn’t about stockpiling clever responses or winning debates. It’s about training ourselves to listen closely enough to notice where someone’s own worldview is already straining toward what only the gospel can answer — and responding with confidence, curiosity, and genuine conviction.
