Sunday Services at Bay Park
What to expect at our morning services?
The worship style is contemporary. We blend a variety of styles including rock and pop to create an atmosphere of celebration and meditation. Everyone worships in their own unique way — for many, that means singing and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words.
How should I dress?
We welcome you to dress comfortably and be yourself. Most people at Bay Park dress somewhat casually. Jeans are certainly fine as well as shorts during warmer weather.
What do I do when I get there?
When you walk in the front doors a friendly person will greet you and answer any questions that you might have.
What happens during the service?
You will be greeted at the door by one of our ushers. Go ahead and find a seat. Please take a moment to complete the Let’s Communicate Card that you will find in the rack in front of your seat and take it to the Welcome Desk in the foyer after the service and we will give you a free book. A way for us to say thanks for dropping by. The card is a way for us to learn a little bit about you. We promise that we won’t show up at your door, but we will send you a welcome letter during the next week in exchange for the card.
We want you to enjoy your time with us so we encourage you to participate as much or as little as you like. You can meet a lot of new people seated around you or choose to remain anonymous at first if you prefer. We’ll give some simple instructions throughout the service to let you know when to stand or sit. During our time together we will sing, pray, read Scripture, and hear a message that is both Biblical and practical. The service usually lasts about 70 minutes. We would love for you to hang around for a little while after the service. Refreshments are available each week, and our people love to spend time meeting newcomers and catching up with friends.
Can I bring my children?
Of course! We welcome children of all ages at Bay Park. There is infant and toddler childcare available during the service as well as children’s classes for kids preschool to high school. Children start off with us in the service for some worship time and are dismissed around quarter after the hour to go to their classes.
If I drive, where can I park?
We have ample parking available at the church although the front lot can fill up very quickly. Keep driving towards the back of the building and you will usually find more spaces to park.
